ABOUT
Grace Boyd is a filmmaker based in Barcelona, where she is pursuing a Master's in Film Directing at the Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya (ESCAC).
Alongside her studies, she works as a freelance filmmaker and takes on whatever a project needs: writing, directing, producing, editing, acting, brainstorming.
In New York City, Grace directed media production at Gabelli Funds and led creative strategy at Buffy Protein.
Grace graduated magna cum laude from Dartmouth College with honors in Film and Media Studies and a minor in English, focused on creative writing. In winter 2022, she moved to Los Angeles for a work-study program run by Dartmouth's Film and Media Studies department. She returned that summer to keep exploring storytelling through both creative projects and professional work.
Minnesota. Texas. New Hampshire. Los Angeles. New York. Barcelona. And many stops in between. Wherever she is, Grace draws inspiration from her surroundings while imagining something beyond our world. Art, collaboration, and human connection energize her.
Grace aims to write, film, and create meaningful stories and visuals that spark emotion, curiosity, and creativity. She loves listening to and learning from new perspectives. Please connect with her below.
